Chitwan is one of Nepal’s oldest national parks, and known for its One-Horned Rhinoceroses, as well as tigers, although tigers are much more elusive. Chitwan is also known for offering elephant-back safaris.
Naturally I was very keen to do the elephant safari, but as you can see from the video, the umbrella had to accompany us. As you can also see, the umbrella would hardly cover the two of us. It bucketed rain, and it wasn’t exactly a hot, steamy tropical rain, but a bit chilly!
Did we see a rhino? You’ll have to watch to see…
