Our visits to Mexico so far have been limited to the states of Quintana Roo, Yucatan and Campeche.
Our first trip was in December 2014. For 2 weeks we drove all over, from Tulum to Valladolid, Merida, Campeche and Calukmul.
We loved it so much we went back for 3 weeks in Apr 2018, visiting Akumal, Valladolid, Merida, Chelem near Progreso, and Puerto Morelos. We spent two weeks in an apartment in Chelem and it was the most tranquil vacation ever. It was called Deco Beach Club and they have several apartments. Ours was this one.

I am a type 1 diabetic, and have been for fifty-three years. From Antarctica to Svalbard, Australia to Africa, I’ve visited every continent. With my husband Greg, I have been on safari to Africa, wandered among the blue boobies in the Galapagos, slogged through jungle mud in Laos, and he has even chased an ocelot in Costa Rica (with his camera!)
