We visited Curacao for 8 days in August 2022. We stayed the entire time at the Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort by Hilton. The resort is close to downtown Willemstad and we loved the town.
We rented a car for the whole visit too, so we could get away to all of the interesting parks and beaches all over the island. My husband Greg gave me this trip as a 60th birthday / 11th anniversary present and I savored every minute of it.

With my husband Greg, I have been on safari to Africa, wandered among the blue boobies in the Galapagos, slogged through jungle mud in Laos, and he has even chased an ocelot in Costa Rica (with his camera!) Our travel has taken careful planning, and constant attention to what is most important. I want to give you the inspiration and travel tips to enable you also to look beyond your own personal challenges, to not hide behind those words “I could never” and to see the world. |
