Montenegro Travel Advice, Tips and Stories
A Diabetic Travel Blog
I hope you enjoy my Montenegro travel blog (even if you aren’t diabetic!) I offer tips for diabetic travel which can be valuable for people without diabetes as well. Safe and healthful travel is great for all of us!
We visited Montenegro in Sept 2014 for 5 days. Starting on the southern seacoast at Ulcinj, having crossed over the border from Albania, we headed north to Budva and Kotor. After Kotor we headed inland and up into the mountains to Zabljac and the Durmitor National Park. We then drove south to Cetinje and the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica (that’s pronounced “Pod-gor-RITZ-a”).
We had a fantastic private driver and guide, Kledi Milloshi, who had previously taken us throughout Albania. Tours-Albania (TAB) was our travel agent, and the agency was superior.
