This is a video of our trip throughout Montenegro in September 2014.
I had not previously published this and thought today, “why not?” I haven’t been here in my memories in a while. We visited the seacoast first (Ulcinje, Budva and Kotor), then spent a few nights in the mountains (Zabljac, Durmitor National Park, Ostroj) then headed to Cetinje and finally Podgorica, the capital. Our timing was perfect – we visited in mid-September. The weather was warm, but the crowds were down.
It was an amazing journey. From what I’ve seen of pictures, we got to see the best of the Adriatic seacoast at a fraction of the cost as compared to Croatia.
