We dashed down from Killybegs through Sligo and Mayo, stopping for lunch at Ashford Castle, and arrived in Galway City. After a brief plane-ride to Innishmore in the Arran Islands, we took a pony-cart ride around the island. Our ferry ride back to Galway City included a float-by of the Cliffs of Moher! The next day we visited the Poulnabrone Dolmen, again the Cliffs of Moher, this time from the top. We ended in Kilkee.
If this sounds like a lot to fit into three days, it was, however the sun only peaked out late on the third day. Of course that’s when I took the picture I used for the title slide! Makes it look much more warm and inviting.
