With this travel blog I’d like to introduce you to Morocco, a fascinating country we made our home for twelve days in May 2015.  We flew into Casablanca on Moroccan Air, traveled to Rabat, Meknes, Fes, Merzouga, Ouarzazate, Marrakech and finally to Essaouira on a private tour with Sun Trails.

Sun Trails was a great choice for tour operator. We chose a customized version of the tour “Land of the Setting Sun.” We chose to stay in the “Dreamer-level” riads, except for night in the desert when we chose the luxury tent. It was an excellent choice to stay in the riads. The rooms were comfortable, generally well located in or near the medinas and had a great Moroccan vibe!
