A Diabetic Travel Blog
I hope you enjoy my England travel blog (even if you aren’t diabetic!) I offer tips for diabetic travel which can be valuable for people without diabetes as well. Safe and healthful travel is great for all of us!
In June 2017 we finally made it to England for a two week road trip.
We started in London for four days, then headed out to Bletchley Park, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswalds, popped over to Caerleon, Wales, (just to say we’d been to Wales!) to Bath, Salisbury, Tintagel, Penzance (both in Cornwall), Lands’ End.
Then we headed directly east along the Kentish coast to Portsmouth, Brighton and Birling Gap. We spent our final night in Canterbury. This trip included only the southern counties of England! We can’t wait to go back to the North and Wales.

London, England, June 2017 What a wonderful city to visit! We stayed in South Kensington, near the Waterloo Tube station, at the Bailey’s Hotel. It was superbly located for getting into the central area quickly. In four days we visited Westminster Abbey, Parliament, took a boat ride, visited Old Greenwich
